Carrot cake

Are you looking for a healty cake? Then try this one. 


Ingredients

  • 250 g carrots, in pieces or 250 g pumpkin, in pieces
  • 1 apple, quartered
  • 200 g almonds
  • or 200 g hazelnuts
  • 5 eggs
  • 50 g sunflower oil
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

PREPARATION

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a springform pan (Ø 26 cm) with baking paper.

 

2. Put the carrots, apple, almonds, eggs, oil, sugar, flour, baking powder and cinnamon in the mixing bowl, mix for 30 secs/level 6, pour into the springform tin and bake for 30-35 minutes (200°C), cover with baking parchment after 20 minutes if necessary. Leave the cake to cool for 5-10 minutes and serve
